Yes, I have heard about hynosis being used to good effect like healing someone's psychological problems. It requires a strong mind and willpower to do it.

I strongly believe that to get the most effect of hypnosis there has to be a person to person contact (in person not via any media like TV or radio). If it is not possible due to some reasons then one can take help of other things but again as I said earlier for the best result it is better to have the process in person.
